We are a Funeral Family caring for yours. Deborah O. Whipper Funeral Services, Inc. is owned and operated by Mrs. Deborah O. Whipper-Wyche, she is joined in licensure by her daughter Shawnette Mitchell.   

As Deborah O. Whipper transitioned from the corporate world into the Funeral industry, she brought with her a dedication to professionalism that translated effortlessly into her passion for assisting families in their time of need. This motivated Her to obtain a degree in Mortuary Science and become a Licensed Funeral Director. After working in the funeral industry for several years she realized her calling for this work; and in 2004 she branched out on her own and established Deborah O. Whipper Funeral Services, Inc. 

Mrs. Whipper-Wyche takes great care in the preparation of your loved one, creating a final memory picture of peace and serenity. Her skill in restoring features to trauma victims is yet another asset in helping to ease the pain of loss. This talent has been recognized by her peers, to which she was commissioned to teach cosmetology to other funeral directors. 

Our goal here at Deborah O. Whipper Funeral Services, Inc. Is to provide assistance to bereaved families with compassion and respect while walking them through the necessary steps of taking care of their loved one’s final needs.

We offer a concierge approach to funeral service where we come to you. Although we have a physical location in Brooklyn, final arrangements can be made from the comfort of your own home. Our introduction to funeral service is intimate and attentive, while cultivating an environment of trust and providing families with information in relation to funeral services.
