Mark Harley

November 17, 1964 — June 7, 2021

Mark Anthony Harley was born in Harlem Hospital November 17, 1964. He graduated from Seward Park High School and enlisted into the United States Army shortly thereafter. After honorably discharging from the military, he returned to New York where he met his lovely wife Linda. Together they created a beautiful family including their children Akil, Deja, and Lucas.

Mark served as a civil servant for the New York City Taxi and Limousine commission. He was a dedicated Supervisor hardly taking time off until he succumbed to illness. He was an avid reader and sports fan. He could often be found watching any kind of sporting event but most especially his beloved Raiders.

He was a devoted husband, father, brother and son. He leaves to mourn his loving wife Linda, two sons Akil and Lucas, one daughter Deja, mother Amy, father Quincy, brother Quincy Jr. (Anita), sister Kasandra, two nephews Micah and Ilias, one uncle James, and a host of cousins and friends.

His soft voice and big smile will be sorely missed.
