Emma Lee Driskell

Emma Lee Murphy, daughter of the late Pearlie Bell Newman and Charlie Newman was born on June 27, 1943, in Trenton, New Jersey.

Emma Lee had two siblings Rosa Lee (Charlene) Towner and the late Barbara Jean Greene.

Emma Lee met then married the late Lewis Driskell. Their union was 4 children, the late Cynthia Hickson, Carl Driskell, the late Albert Hickson and Aisha Mills.

Emma Lee was a strong woman of faith whose belief and trust in God was what kept her happy and this. encouraged many around her. We are grateful that her faith in God is what kept her strong.

Emma Lee Murphy Driskell departed this earthly life on March 17, 2023. She leaves to cherish fond memories, her children Carl Driskell and Aisha Mills, son-in-Law Charles Hickson, her sister Charlene Towner, a host of grandchildren, great-grands, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Emma Lee was a warrior and fought long and hard and will be missed. We do not remember days; we remember the moments. Thank you for the memories shared.
